Went to AZ from MN on vacation to warm up and possibly a new stare to live. We were excited and heard good things about Arizona only to find more COVID scared linerals than socialist Minnesota? WTF?
People are walking around outside by themselves in 75 degrees with masks on! Saw a guy put on his mask inside of his filthy car to pump gas and get back in his car to drive away.
The level of stupid in this state is very high!
Finally we went to a tourist trap near the Mexican border. There was a small bakery selling sweets. My wife and I went in and it smelled amazing. We were great until another group came in and she told them that only 1 more person could enter in order to be “safe” even though there were only 3 total people in the building.
The guy coming in asked what she was keeping us safe from? She got pretty pissed and said it was her store and her choice.
My wife and I put everything down at that point and let her know the customer is the most precious thing to a business and she just messed that up.
We all left Including the other group and she sold nothing.
We can’t believe Arizona is more liberal feeling than Minnesota just about everywhere we have gone here! C’mon AZ!!
Is it a big city thing? Or specific location? I haven’t been too Arizona in 5 years but I remember Tucson and Phoenix being pretty different. Kinda like how Houston and Austin both might be liberal but Austin is a shithole compared too it.
We are staying in Tucson but have been all over the state. Phoenix seems worse!! The small town we went to yesterday surprised me as to how bad it was there. We were a few miles off the border. Even the mountain towns are full of Libs. It’s bad. As soon as you get outside the metro in Minnesota it’s Trump country. Not here in AZ!
