Correct. The intended pipeline is to bring natural gas from the Persian Gulf into Europe. That would weaken Russia.

You have it backwards, the purpose of the war of regime change in Syria was to stop that pipeline. The Russian pipeline was to bypass Ukraine, travel through Syria, Turkey, Iran, and on to Europe. It would have fucked Ukraine, hence why Obama sent his VP and Secretary of State's sons to work with Ukraine's largest privately owned natural gas company. Bashar al-Assad is Russia's ally, and favored that pipeline. This is the reason why we got four years of, "RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA!" when Trump was in office. This is why the democrats had a hissy fit when Trump ended our involvement in Syria.
That Russian pipeline would have been in direct competition with the proposed pipeline originating in Qatar, that would travel to Europe via Syria, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Turkey. Again, Bashar al-Assad preferred the Russian pipeline, being their ally. Qatar was the biggest financier of the war of regime change in Syria, spending billions on arming the insurgency.
The other pipeline that the democrats were protecting was a proposed pipeline originating in Iran, travel through Syria and Lebanon, and on to Europe.
Notice all those names... Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon... (Kashoggi). All of that turmoil that the DNC has gotten the US involved in since Obama took office was about those pipelines. All of it has been about protecting DNC and their Islamic ally's money, while making sure the other country that is against globalism, Russia, is kept down and labeled the enemy of the US.

I remember reading a theory on the_donald back in the day that made a lot of sense.
The story goes all the way back to 2011 when OPEC raised gas prices and prices were above $4/gal in some states. Russia wanted to fuck with OPEC and opened up a ton of oil reserves and lowered the price of oil. I'm not sure who wanted it whether it was OPEC or China, but the plan became to bypass Russia and run a pipeline through Syria. The ruler of Syria didn't want a pipeline. Hillary Clinton as SoS did what the US always does and tried to overthrow Bashar Al-Assad and install someone that would allow this pipeline. So Hillary created ISIS by arming terrorists to overthrow Assad. It was working, until Russia saw what was going on and started supporting Assad. It was around this time, the Obama administration started badmouthing Putin publicly because we couldn't admit we were "fighting" against Russia because it was all black ops. This is one of the main reasons that Russia supported Trump over Hillary in 2016. They did not want to see their economy destroyed by Hillary. Now the same regime is back in power. They will do everything they can to use their media apparatus to turn public opinion against Syria and install someone friendly to them.
it is easier for these elitist a$$holes to steal in Syria, by first funnelling tax payer money there under the pretext that it is needed for energy independence, and then stealing from the Syrians, and distributing with little over-sight. The American people get hurt the hardest with higher prices at the pump. It is all devised for the purpose of making it easier to steal, and makes us less energy independent.
