There is a lot of lefty Twitter comments calling out the golden idol and comparing it with the Golden Calf.

While they MAY have a valid point with the Golden idols, the fact that they are so mired in idolatry in their own to their Marxist causes kind of invalidates whatever point they are trying to make.
