I can't name anything good that the US military does anymore. Defending democracy was out with the coup. Supplying bomb support for our al Qaeda/ISIS allies seems to be the only role for the US military now, just as it was during Obama and during Clinton's war in the Balkans.

And then the Bush wars to create "nation building" for his cronies. I wouldn't spend another nickel on "defense" spending.
