These leftists aren't even particularly repentant. They make excuses that they were not truly responsible for the damage they caused because they were misled and indoctrinated by malicious or naïve utopia-loving intellectuals. Personally, I don't by that excuse. I think ex-leftists should remain dispossessed and ostracized. They can fuck off.

I don't totally agree. People, I think, should be able to change their minds without ridicule. That said, I don't have any sympathy for the "I don't like Biden. I just voted for him" crowd who are complaining now.

It's totally a case by case basis. If someone expresses regret for voting Biden on their own I think you can often make headway or at least find common ground. Common ground is important in politics, in fact its paramount.

People's opinions change over time and statistically people tend to become more conservative and Republican with age. So if some 19 year old moron voted against Trump and for Biden that's totally fine. I was braindead/brainwashed enough to vote for John Fuckwad Kerry in 2004 when really I was just voting against GWB. Even though he lost I had immediate voter's remorse and would snap back into a more right leaning person in the years following. I didn't vote for McCain or Romney either but from early 2005 or so on I started to really become more aware of all the media driven bullshit.
