Fuck small business. Seriously, fuck em. The next time you walk into some small business with the intention to support them and they go "SIR! MASK!" and they do that little swipe across the face gesture, tell them you're exempt and if they still deny you, walk out and never support them again.
This has happened to me several times now. I told them I will never come back and my only intention was to spend some money to help them. 2 of those businesses are declaring bankruptcy now.
Fuck em. They're dying, won't open up en mass and resist tyranny, have to jack their pricing up to survive and still wanna play by the rules rigged against them.
I say fuck every one that doesn't want to resist. Let em rot.
If the little guy doesn't understand it's the big guys and government stepping on their necks and refuse to resist it, then they deserve to perish.
They do that because if they don't, they'll get fined by the city and their business will take a hit in monetary damages on top of it being reported by the media as being a hotbed of the virus causing less people to go in. I don't blame them. They're doing everything they can to stay open and feed their families and the families of their employee's.
This is what they're reduced to in order to put food on the table.
This isn't like pure profit and lining their pockets. This is them struggling to exist in a place and against mega corporations to simply exist.
This is an act of desperation from them in order to keep their doors open, serve their community, and employ their people.
So what? Those health inspectors should be fearing for their life at this point in time. It baffles me that no one has done something to them yet.
Well, get on it then. A small business owner isn't going to completely tank their livelihood and leave their children fatherless to be the first in line.
The health inspector is undercover. They go into a store not wearing a mask, and see if anyone objects. The store owner might not even know who was the undercover informant. Plus you have the possibility of other customers ratting you out if it isn't an undercover health inspector.
No. There is no requirement to ENFORCE the wearing of masks...

Some are not only fining for not enforcing, but have actually sent out people to entrap businesses who don't tell them to put on a mask. Everyone was totally fine with it when they did it for alcohol sales, so it's not even illegal thanks to the wonderful invention of "precedence."
If you're a small business owner who was around prior to covid, taken unsustainable hit after hit with no end in sight while, simultaneously watching big chains gut you like a fish AND you complied with everything for nothing in the end yet you STILL don't resist, you're an idiot and you will go insolvent.
They love to complain, just don't have the balls to do anything about it.
They know it's never going to end until they decide to stand up. If they don't stand up, then it's on them and I for one have no sympathy. I hate big chains but I'll gladly walk into one of them without a mask and save tons over wearing a mask and further supporting places who are part of the problem in this country.
You have two choices in a tyranny. Resist and maybe win or comply and die without a doubt. They're picking the latter.
