when Trump was restricting travel from certain countries right after he entered office. I know several other judges ruled against Trump for other actions he invoked, or tried to. I had no idea a judge not on a Supreme Court could wield that kind of power. My opinion is this gives judges way more power than they should have. Thoughts fellow Pedes?

Unless someone is trying to use the information in a court of law and it could influence a potential jury pool, it should not concern the judge.
His lawyers may have argued that the public release of this info could taint prospective jurors?
It can be considered private information related to the victim of the accident. You can't release medical related information of victims. Especially when they're involved in high profile cases.
They have to redact information.
Curious as to whether this applied to Trump in the travel ban and other actions where a judge shut Trump down. What recourse would Trump have in these cases?
Correct. They have usurped authority that is not rightfully theirs. It's legislating from the bench.
Judges have usurped power that is not legally theirs in the US, has been going on for a long long time.
