This is one of the least surprising things I've read all day

He is still staying on as special prosecutor.

For optics

2
Olds77 2 points ago +2 / -0

Then why did Biden even bother asking him to resign if optics were the most important thing and Durham ran cover for him?

1
Monz 1 point ago +1 / -0

Optics for Durham i believe. Also maybe a hope that it will keep us hopeful and complacent in a way.

I don't espect anything from Durham.

1
kornesque 1 point ago +1 / -0

Nope. He could have pushed out a prelim. He knew full well the investigative landscape would completely shift after the steal.

He's in on it.

1
Monz 1 point ago +1 / -0

I mean as in optics to try to look good or something. As if he "tried" or is "trying" probably fuels some Q people with false hope as well.

2
kornesque 2 points ago +2 / -0

Oh I agree. My nope was to your not expecting anything from our probably CGI agent.

Olds77 0 points ago +1 / -1

I didn't expect anything from Horowitz yet he delivered even though he was a Democrat. Every day Biden crushes the left with his failures and disillusions so many. The swamp runs deep and Durham likely had to navigate it the whole time, with how knows who was sabotaging it though likely Barr.

1
Monz 1 point ago +1 / -0

Barr picked him personally. Barr is corrupt, and anybody picked by him is just as bad.

To prosecute trump?

1
Olds77 1 point ago +1 / -0

Nope, Spygate probe.

2
MrQuacker2020 2 points ago +2 / -0

Hasn't that "probe" been going for God damn near 4 years?? How long do you need to prosecute something that a literal retard with internet access could take to a grand Jury inside a week?

1
Olds77 1 point ago +1 / -0

It depends on the scope of it, but the previous Democrat did surprisingly expose a lot of the corruption and Durhams case came later and was built on top of that. Durham did some great work going after FBI crime in New England almost 2 decades ago and I will wait to see what happens.

BREAKING NEWS: GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE DOES NO WORK!!!

bigbossman2 13 points ago +13 / -0

I don't even want to hear that worthless turd's name anymore.

At one time I held out hope that he was actually a honest decent American.

Just to be clear, Biden is still keeping him as special counsel until the Durham Report is complete (probably still be working on it when Trump is reelected in 2024 haha). Like dozens of other U.S Attorneys, he has been asked to resign. Durham is only resigning from his Connecticut U.S Attorney role.

It's a lot harder to remove a special attorney. There are safeguards in place to prevent Presidents from getting rid of special attorney's. I think congress has to vote on it.

cryptoa 6 points ago +6 / -0

Of course. Clinesmith gets a slap on the wrist, not even disbarred for lying to the courts. Now we know why Biden needed to win at all costs.

The FBI has time to go look at door handles and GAGA dogs, can pin point with laser accuracy people who were let into the capitol by the cops.

But when there is a mountain of evidence of a pre planned coup and spying on Trump they spend 4 years finding nothing.

What Bullshit. This is the number 1 reason why Trump had to go. Wouldn't shock me if the Dems now drag out Russiagate again and try and re run another special councsol to continue distracting.

Hmm. No shit.

Is anyone surprised. He was there to run the clock out on the statute of limitations.

We have been tricked again. The devil THINKS he has us, but he does NOT. Remember, "There is NO rest for the WICKED."

As they said upon Calvin Coolidge’s death:

How can you tell?

Trumpdidit 1 point ago +1 / -0

Shocking,,,no not at all, I thought he'd go immediately after bill barr, but I guess later is just as well. The dude was dragging his feet for two years, I knew this would be the outcome. Two tier justice is what is currently operating in this country. I feel if they had not stole the elction, and re seated Trump, he would have brought out indictments, but now with new admin, his job is "dun"......

Scammed implies you had expectations that he was going to do something. I knew in the summer when nothing was done that both Durham and Barr were buying time until the election.

1
Monz 1 point ago +1 / -0

Scammed again.

1
BS2020 1 point ago +1 / -0

He should be personally responsible for paying the taxpayers back!

I keep saying it was a JUDICIAL BRANCH COUP and the JustUs System keeps driving my point home!

If you’re mad about this it’s because you expected the government to save us from the government. No one is coming to the rescue.

Sicsempertyrannis76 1 point ago +1 / -0

Still says he is still special counsel

0
nathanrzehringer 0 points ago +1 / -1

He is staying on as special consul...so he is still working...we were not fully scammed yet

I don't really care that you want to exist in a world without justice. The hell you created is what you have to live in.

Yes I'm momentarily disappointed, but not "suicidal".

That's for pussies like you. And you will be there in a few years when you realise you've laid your future to waste because "orang man bad".

If despite trying all, " legal and peaceful " means to regain voter system integrity and the rule of law back in America, we fail, then we will have to heed the advice and actions of our Founding Fathers when confronted with a tyrannical government. Conservatives can make preparations for the likelihood of future armed conflict without breaking the law: Form a neighborhood watch group. Start a book club based on, " Resistance to Tyranny " by Col Joseph Martino. Take your family camping. Join a gun club. Start an airsoft/paintball club. Get in shape. etc.etc.

Hate to break it to you but there never has been any justice anyway.
