A lot of rural homes are heated by furnaces in their basement that run on a mix similar to kerosene. (You can go and grab a few cans of kerosene to get you through a night if you run out, but you don't want to always use it). The oil feeds the furnace from bigass tanks (I have two at 500 gallons per). So you'll order a shitload of heating oil all at once, and a dude drives it out to you in a tanker and fills you up (there's a pipe installed that leads outside from the tanks in the basement).
That OP confuses me.
Who has an oil dealer?
I was wondering the same thing. Is he referencing propane? Some type of fuel oil like kerosene or something? Owns a jiffy lube? I need some context

Thank you good sir. I was assuming it's similar to the local propane man. Filled my 1000 gallon tank November 5th and I'm glad I did
