Also, Zoe will take the wheel away from Wash when things get tough, because, "Men can't do anything right, let a woman do it!" Kayleigh will inexplicably be able to use the Force with no training. Shepherd Book will die in the first episode when an alliance officer kneels on his neck.

Agreed, pretty crazy how cucked he has become. Use to make some of the best content around to takeing soy enamas from his husbands boyfriend's tranny lover.
Holy crap. I just thought of the perfect writer/director: S. Craig Zahler, the based genius behind Bone Tomahawk (2015). The guy has a flair for period dialogue, is a genre nerd, can work within a budget, and likely has a list of based talent just waiting to do something like this for scale or close to it.
Brawl in Cell Block 99 is out of control
All three of his features are great. That one in particular has my favorite soundtrack. Personally, my ratings are in perfect alignment with their release dates, from genius to very good. Full disclosure: total genre fan, horror heading the list.
Haven't seen Bone Tomahawk yet, it looks intimidatingly intense haha. The scene with the savage reaching in the guys mouth in the trailer gave me a serious case of the willies, and I am far from squeamish. Anything overly gratuitous? I mean Brawl was violent to the point of cringe at parts but nothing that made me feel genuinely uncomfortable like that Bone Tomahawk trailer did.
