I’m done fucking around. Sent the following tonight in response to a request to participate in white training.

“I am a parent of a daughter that attends Indian Hills Middle School. Tonight we received the email with the link that will allow us to learn how to "Talk to our kids about race" next Thursday evening and asked to submit any questions to this email address so that they may be pre-screened and selected. My questions is as follows:

What is the response to those who say that the media and events like this are using their platform, specifically in affluent areas such as SME and Indian Hills Middle School, to enhance racial tensions and cause more division and strife amongst our youth by shaming Caucasians for simply being white?

Further, isn't it a fact, specifically in the SME District, that over 80% students who reported being bullied, felt they were being bullied for socioeconomic status and zero stated that it had anything at all to do with race, but more so about "not being rich"?

I'm also a parent of a daughter that attends Shawnee Mission East and was sent an email about reviewing the SME Diversity & Inclusion Page found at https://smeast.smsd.org/activities/diversity-inclusion.

Upon going to the SME page, I found two articles of particular interest: "White Teachers Need Anti-Racist Training" (https://www.edweek.org/teaching-learning/opinion-white-teachers-need-anti-racist-therapy/2020/02) and "The racial dynamics between American women are flipped in a disorienting photo series" (https://qz.com/1009338/in-a-photo-series-for-o-magazine-racial-dynamics-between-white-women-and-women-of-color-are-flipped/) To say that this is extreme biased and discrimination is a gross underexaggeration.

I expect to see my question asked and answered during the Race Seminar Thursday, March 4th located at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/how-to-talk-to-your-kids-about-race-tickets-142259655459 (and have cc'd every local news station to ensure that there are fair and unbiased answers to all questions asked).

Additionally, as a legal professional, I'd advise this organization that it needs to include multiple view points and opinions because it will likely find itself in court with multiple discrimination lawsuits.”

Indian hills you say? Be prepared for that to change. Reeeeeeeee.

In all seriousness I’m sorry you’re dealing with this, I don’t live in Kansas but it seems like the left has waged war with schools this week and I have 3 children that I just don’t know what to do with their schooling. Where I live it is equally as bad.

Yep. The name change has already started.

I am mortified that this is happening in America. I am moving to a rural community come June, but have to put up with this shit until then.

Good luck, pede. I live just across a nearby state line. My kid isn't in school, yet, but these stories enrage me. I already foresee cancel culture coming my way. Haha
