When your kid has cancer you lose all control. What we can control is our attitude. I am in charge of keeping him happy, motivated, entertained and occupied. We negotiate getting him to eat so he doesn't need a feeding tube and when the time comes that he needs a feeding tube I will make him understand that it is not his fault and a good thing to have done.
