Can confirm, I already saw one on facebook saying Biden inherited Trump's failing economy.

23
Gnometard 23 points ago +23 / -0

That's kind of true. Governor's ruined the economy because of the china virus and Biden inherited that. Good for Biden, half the work was done for him and he can blame it all on the virus!

RussianSkynet 11 points ago +11 / -0

Idk dow recovered fully and then some prior to Biden.

7
QLARP 7 points ago +8 / -1

Unemployment went up to 10% and the Dow went up.

America is more then wall street. Fuck them.

America is its people.

1
RussianSkynet 1 point ago +1 / -0

While I agree that unemployment and dow aren't that related, your statement isn't that truthful. Unemployment went worse than 10% when dow dropped. So if going to 10% is an improvement. https://www.ncsl.org/research/labor-and-employment/national-employment-monthly-update.aspx

As of facts matter...

3
SantaBrown 3 points ago +3 / -0

I think it's inflation. False increases due to the currency being worth less making securities have a higher price tag.

*Just and bachelor degree in finance someone will know more than me. Please reply if you have experience.

1
RussianSkynet 1 point ago +1 / -0

Don't have experience. But dow dropping in Feb/march not because of inflation , but it going up is because of inflation?

Doesn't seem like really sound reasoning.

2
SantaBrown 2 points ago +2 / -0

What I meant is this as an analogy. Gas has gone up in price. But what if the price increase in gas is due to the currency being worth less. Obviously the price of gas has many more variables however compare that to stock prices. How much is the rise in the price tag of stonks and other securities (aside from obvious downfalls) attributed to the excess cash in the market due to massive increases in money supply as well as people not wanting to hold cash. Sorry been drinking and that's the best I can do with finance out of textbooks. It's kind of a meme that the market never reacts how in theory it should.

1
RussianSkynet 1 point ago +1 / -0

I see, good thinking.

1
rebuildingMyself 1 point ago +1 / -0

A lot of the market is psychology anyway. That "human factor" is a bigger variable than people realize.

1
RussianSkynet 1 point ago +1 / -0

Maybe I should have been more specific. But that's why I was ok with just dow because it is in essence a number about how confident people are about the market.

Aquamine-Amarine 5 points ago +5 / -0

Yes, some dumb liberal in my office building says Biden inherited a bad economy... But what he won't say is that the media and the left destroyed Trump's amazing economy with muh covid bullshit and overreacting.

I live in a big city and gas is already a whopping $4.80/gallon for premium, up almost a dollar and a half in the brief month creepy joe has been in office. I can't wait to hear how this is "actually a good thing" for the economy and also trumps fault at the same time. Can't wait.

Should have used nuka cola caps. Recession proof even through nuclear fallout.

9
Pede3 9 points ago +9 / -0

I'm sure that it's already happening. Trump is blamed for everything else, not Biden's handlers. Blaming Biden would be like blaming a little kid for spilling juice all over when you give him a cup without a lid.

“Trump ruined the economy by not being fascist enough to prevent retarded governors from instating economic lockdowns and now Biden will fix the economy with more economic lockdowns. Trump is a fascist.”

3
Gnometard 3 points ago +3 / -0

Very soon.

3
Wishdonwasdad 3 points ago +3 / -0

Lol...its coming.

3
malioswa 3 points ago +3 / -0

Maybe they'll skip a step and just say it's Bush's economy. Negro Jesus fixed it. Then Trump took credit for it. But really ruined it. Now Joe is going to--- Joe, no this side, leave the nice lady's girl--- Joe??

3
cryptoa 3 points ago +3 / -0

They been saying that since the campaign. That was a huge talking point. Highest unemployment under Trump blah blah blah. They blame their economy wrecking Dem lockdowns on him, just like Cuomo blames his elderly genocide on Trump.

2

Shh don't give them any ideas... they have trouble thinking of them on their own.

2
Axiom502 2 points ago +4 / -2

they blame trump for muhhh 500,000 deaths for a virus THEY created

7
Gnometard 7 points ago +7 / -0

Only 6% of those are actually covid deaths and 100% of them are people that would've died soon anyway.

The easing of the lock downs will allow a lot of people go back to work. This will help hide the destruction the dem policies will cause. And of course they will spin it as they created jobs.

RogueLeaderX 1 point ago +1 / -0

I’ve already heard the old zinger of “Presidents don’t control gas prices”

1
Latin_Patriot_MAGA 1 point ago +1 / -0

I think they will not, because they know that the lockdowns and destruction were seen by millions around the world, and many know that it was planned by the violent left of the demoKKKrats

1
TearofLys 1 point ago +1 / -0

Of course they will try

1

When the establishment finishes this cycle of pillaging the economy so they can buy assets for pennies on the dollar from people going bankrupt. Then it'll be "Trump's fake economy collapsed so give up more of your rights so we can fix it"

1
HeavenlyTrumpets 1 point ago +1 / -0

As soon as there's a crash, and I'm pretty sure there will be.

1
VoteCyborgTrump2040 1 point ago +1 / -0

I couldn't believe it when they actually attributed all the things Trump was doing to Obama. It was so transparently bullshit. I figured they'd at least try to come up with some decent deflection talking point. But they didn't. They just said it was all Obama's work. But I won't be surprised this time. It's definitely coming.

1
TangerineShine 1 point ago +1 / -0

Simple Counter: “what were all of the executive orders for?”

It’s a dem supermajority, they will try to blame the right yet they will fail miserably

1
Wallllllllllllllllll 1 point ago +2 / -1

I don't think they will. They are going to prop it up with stimulus after stimulus and drive us deeper and deeper into debt. Then they will double the minimum wage. All of this will lead to hyperinflation, and we won't even notice there is anything wrong with the economy at first because we will all have more money than ever, but then you will start to notice how expensive everything is all of a sudden. Five years from now a new truck will cost more than your house did five years ago. Your retirement that was supposed to last 25 years will suddenly only last ten, if you're lucky. People will have jump from job to job because employers don't want to give raises but have to increase offers for new hires just to get them in the door.

1
LiskaEman 1 point ago +1 / -0

Best part isyou can say ‘NOPE!’ And link them to all Biden’s executive orders and actions

1
crazyjackel 1 point ago +1 / -0

After the democrat Covid-19 bill, I consider that Biden and the Dems had made such an impact on the economy that it is no longer Trump’s. A few sectors like Oil and medicine after already under Biden’s economical control.

In my prediction, given that GME doesn’t yank the markets due to the ridiculous liquidity we are due for a bounce followed by a cliff in either direction.

Truthfully Politicians do not control the economy. The president however can massively help or massively hurt. Especially concerning market feelings.
