It means, the American Church overlooks the part when Jesus became angry and started turning over the tables and kicking the people out of the temple for defiling it. Most churches don't have the courage to speak out when the country is being defiled. It's pathetic. I'm sure God really is impressed with our luke warm churches -sarcasm.
Pacifist Christians turn my stomach. There is great honor in dying with dignity as a martyr, but that is only once all other options to fight have been exhausted.
The Christians who spout "turn the other cheek" and turn it into the entirety of their philosophy are just using it as an excuse to just roll over and lose.
They are the same ones that say, "never judge", which is totally wrong doctrine. It says "Do not judge, lest you be judged" meaning when you do judge make sure you are doing it with God's guidance. We judge all the time with our children, employees, friends we choose, etc.
I don't get it. Can someone tell me what this means?
