Yep. It is shocking to me how many people flat out say they voted for him due to the promise of these checks. Maybe I'm privileged or whatever, but I fail to see how $1400 is going to change someone's entire life around.

That would be me. Trump's just a taste of what I would like to see and I could complain on and on and on about conservatism in the USA. I don't know what to say other than GOP-conservatism is a tainted brand like Coca-Cola is now. Trump at least pretended to care about blue collar work for example. Another would be Trump actually meeting with Kim Jong Un. Could you imagine Hillary Clinton doing that? Bush Jr/Sr? I thought that was phenomenal and a breath of fresh air.
