I have been sprayed about dozen times with OC spray due to my career. OC spray has never killed a single human. Bear spray is actually weaker than the stuff law enforcement uses. Bear spray just sounds scarier.
Yup, the good stuff isn't even used by the police normally. The MP's had some nasty shit they used on me, it left residue on my walls that would burn your skin when cleaning it up. Taking my eyesight didn't help them even with 5 on 1 to get me in handcuffs let alone stop me from breathing. If citizens can't get relief for the abusive use of Pepper Spray by police why should the police get relief for it being used on them? They have used that shit on old people to kids like it can't hurt them. Well that opinion now goes both ways and they cry murder.

Right the bear spray IS nasty AF I know I once accidentally triggered one inside my truck but the OC is worse.
It’s still about 1000% less potent than actual pepper spray.
There are plenty of articles on this. Bears noses are 1 million times more sensitive than humans, it doesn’t need to be strong.
