I delivered pizzas as a kid. The most popular pizza (large supreme) was $9.99 delivered. A lot of people would hand me a ten dollar bill and tell me to keep the change. I never cried like a fucking little bitch over it.
The crazy part to me was...I got way better tips in the poor neighborhoods than I did in the more well to do ones. Rich people are some cheap fucks
People who work service jobs like this are lazy, entitled and are often potheads. The thought of going and working as an apprentice plumber and working your way up to the real money is too much hard work for them.
Me too, I loved driving pizzas I did it for a few years when I was young and I still would if I ever got sick of my day job. If I remember correctly there actually is a tip tied into the total I think they call it delivery fee or something that goes to the driver. Honestly if I was that guy I would be ashamed to be on the TV throwing a hissy fit like a toddler I never behaved like that much less in front of other people lol.
Middle of blizzard, $9.95 special.
I arrive, customer hands me a Ten and wants his nickel back. ( Not a pun ).
So I go through my change bag, pull out a quarter, put it back pull out and dime put it back, pull out another quarter put in back in the bag. The whole time blizzard snow and wind is bellowing into his mansion , I am pretty sure the artic air reached his wife, I could her her coming, that is when I have up the nickel and exit stage left. Yep the rich neighbors tips sucked, the poorest were the best. This was Toledo OH, 1988, working for Marcos Pizza.
I delivered pizza at the same time. 1988. I was a senior in high school. Plymouth Indiana. Mom and pop shop called Pizza Junction. Small town, virtually no crime. Then one evening I was robbed at gun point. The two robbers were easily caught and they both got twenty years in prison for robbing a grand sum of 38 dollars and some change. Dumbasses

Key words - “as a kid”. This man is trying to support himself (and his family?) at age 23 as a Dominos delivery driver.
In normal times, this would be incentive to GET A BETTER JOB. In current times, this is ... normal?
In current times he’s a hero for not selling drugs on the corner and knowing his kids names
That's assuming he's not also delivering drugs and that he knows the names of his kids.

No argument.
That guy did not have a family. Looked like he lived in a tiny apartment.
Listen here baugget! You don't know how many baby mama's he's got!
Doesn’t mean he doesn’t pay child support.

you don't get rich by paying 15% more for everything you buy.
