Not making excuses for Trump. I do wish he had spend his first year pushing the STATES to fix their election laws, and exposing the fraud that had already occurred in Hillary's favor. But he DID attempt that, and was shot down by the states. Again, he's not a dictator, and there are Constitutional limits. All the same, he should have hammered on that theme for 4 years straight. But the DAY he got in, he was hounded by the fake RUSSIA bullshit. That kept ANY kind of election reform off the table, and that was quickly followed up by TWO impeachments.
I also wish he had fired ANYBODY that Obama had hired. Everybody. And he really needed a fiercely Patriotic Attorney General. That alone would have shut down the hijinx in November.
I'm hoping he is now setting up an organization to FORCE states to fix their voting systems over the next year or two. Without bringing transparency and VERIFIABILITY to the elections, this Republic has zero chance of surviving.
