Mannnn I swear I came across the NFT thing watching a Tim Dillon clip and then went down the rabbit hole and watched the exact video you posted here and thought the exact same thing you did about memes. I kind of understand it but not really. What's so great about "owning" something digital that anyone can access? Like the Lebron highlight that sold for a bunch of money; you "own" it because a token says so but I can go on Youtube and watch the same highlight over and over so what's the point of owning it? But it doesn't really matter what I think because what's undeniable is some of that stuff is selling for huge money. I'd love to talk more about this stuff with you and hear your thoughts.
