You don't need a good argument, you merely need an argument that takes some time to work through and a willingness to stick with it until it becomes a problem for other people, then you win.

The entire thing is predicated upon people having a kind of honor in debate that simply doesn't exist anymore.

In a more totalitarian, less "debate"-oriented setting, this attitude might be more trouble than it is worth but having such a society requires some kind of point or points of agreement that western society currently doesn't have.

This is also why liberalism is turning into leftist totalitarianism so quickly, it is developing such points of agreement but only as degeneracy and anti-white slop.
