Do you know of any books/videos/websites where I can learn more about this? I feel like we spend so much time in school talking about the Nazis, but they teach us so little about the people who were a part of it. For instance, why did Hitler's message resonate so strongly with the German common man? Or why did the Nazis hate communism so much when they were self-proclaimed socialists? I find all of this so interesting, but many authors refuse to see things from the German perspective even if they disagree with it.
If you go on bitchute and search “nazi rise to power” (or whatever good search you can think of) and filter it by longer videos, you can find some decent material.
The tl;dr of what I remember is essentially, Hitler did Germany REALLY good before WWII. Before he was in power, Germany was in the shitter and he dragged them out of it so he was very well-liked and respected in Germany.
