I was going to stay and fight for VA, but was priced out of buying a home within 90 miles of work. Apartments are off the hook expensive. Even Manassas is out of reasonable price for what one can get.
Despite being the statistical top in missing kids, I received 1 amber alert in 8 years. On my move to Florida, I got one in NC and GA. Just on the drive down. The statistical means to being top is number of missing kids by the population. Raw numbers are higher elsewhere. Also, rarely does a missing kids picture get posted.
