She's been sick with some stomach problems for the past month. She's been to several doctors now and nothing they've done has helped. This morning she went to the hospital and she's feeling a bit better but we're still worried. If you could take some time out of your day to say a little prayer for her, it would be greatly appreciated.
Edit:
Thank you so much! I'm very touched by everyone's kindness. I've felt so helpless during all of this, but all of your support brings me some peace. I'll be sure to let you all know once we get some new information. Again, I can't express how thankful I am for all the love. It means a lot to me.
Edit 2:
She's doing much better now. She has stopped vomiting, and they've started her on a liquid diet and fluids. She was able to keep that down, but they are going to keep her until she can handle solids. They're also running several tests. According to my grandfather, all of the doctors and nurses were very nice and professional. My grandmother has had several bad experiences with hospital staff before, so I'm very relieved. Thank you again to everyone for your thoughts and prayers! I have no doubt that it helped. Hopefully, they will be able to figure out what's going on so she can fully recover and prevent it from happening again.
Edit 3:
In case anyone was curious, my grandmother is now back home and much, much better! The doctor believes it's a combination of diverticulitis and a problem with some netting in her esophagus that they put in many years ago due to her acid reflux. She'll be seeing someone about that soon, but for the time being she's feeling pretty good. My dad was on the phone with her earlier and I could hear her talking a mile a minute 😊. I know I'm repeating myself, but thank you again everyone! Prayer is so powerful and God has blessed us with more time together. You all were able to put me at ease during a very stressful time.
