There's no guarantee your efforts will work when it comes to anything, but there is always a guarantee your lack of effort won't work when it comes to affecting change. Not trying insures failure and trying harder than last time makes success more likely than before. This is true with any goal and regardless of circumstances.

Why don't you explain how voting works when it so clearly didn't in 2019 election. Trump won by a landslide, so a handful of cities stole the election. Why would you think, after doing it once... They won't do it twice?
