Yet at the end of the day if I haven't asked anyone out and I haven't even really put in much effort to meet or talk to any members of the opposite sex..... isn't this ultimately the real core reason why I have no prospects and not the system that is stacked against me?
There's no guarantee your efforts will work when it comes to anything, but there is always a guarantee your lack of effort won't work when it comes to affecting change. Not trying insures failure and trying harder than last time makes success more likely than before. This is true with any goal and regardless of circumstances.

How do you feel about analogies in general as a persuasion technique? I don't find I have too many other ways of attempting to explain abstract concepts to people who are probably less educated and intelligent than I am so it's my usual go to. Doesn't seem to be nearly as effective when compared to it's name brand competitor: Lies & Bullshit.
