While American is always preferred, so is solid goods. Kel-tec has a bad reliability stigma which hopefully they can fix.

I have had bad experiences with kel-tec. Had to trade their shotgun in for a mossburg. Good trade.

It was the KS7. Bullpup. Looks great. Operates poorly. And since the price/demand went way up from the time I bought it to the time I traded it in, I got a nice 590 in exchange during the first gun-run in 2020.
