This is STILL bullshit! She is warped.

Meza explained in a Twitter thread that the bill has been misrepresented and its purpose is to amend the existing law to require a homeowner to exhaust the option to safely retreat before using deadly force in defense of themselves or their home (here).

She added: “I filed this bill because the castle doctrine as it currently exists emboldens people to take justice into their own hands. While theft is obviously wrong, we have laws to address that. I don’t believe that stealing someone’s lawn ornament should be an offense punishable by death.”

Yes, stealing a lawn ornament or anything from someone’s property is a death worthy event. By bullet to the skull!

Not only should you be allowed to shoot someone stealing a lawn ornament, you should be allowed to do it from two miles away with a .50.

Well if people don't steal they don't need to find out. These crazy people don't realize that the softer on crime the go the harder the criminals get.

She's one of the crime apologists who want people to believe that stealing is an OK thing to do.

Why is that?

I don't understand the line of reasoning that you shouldn't value your own property over someone else's life.

Why shouldn't we? I like my property, but I couldn't give a rat's ass whether some lowlife scum who isn't part of my social circle and has no value to society lives or dies.

I mean, clearly the would-be thief values your property more than his own life if he's risking it to steal from you.
