In the end intelligence in one field doesn't automatically equate to intelligence in other fields.
I'm certain Trump is great at hiring people for his business, but business hires and political hires are two different things.
All his picks had great resumes, but without that political experience, it's hard to tell which are actually loyal, and which are just saying the right things to get into the position to advance their own causes. The swamp ran deeper than anyone thought.
i agree 1000%. Trump's strongsuit is obviously anything business related. i think the problem he fell into was hiring people the same way he would his own business.
it caused him to hire people such as Amarosa and Scaramoochi that i believe he used to be friends with back in the day, but after firing them, they turned on him and now badmouth him every chance they now get.
I hope next time, he does much better at hiring the right people the first time around.
