Every state needs this.

I want to know why Ohio hasn't passed this if they're so against DeWine's edicts.

Getting real sick and tired of Texas acting like a bunch of Fags and not moving forward on this already.

This needed to happen so bad. The people complaining about local governments like the counties not being able to decide for themselves are morons. The mandates themselves are illegal. It shouldn't HAVE to be spelled out that nobody can mandate masks, but apparently it needs to be. Corrupt courts won't put a stop to it, so good for the legislature for taking steps to protect people's rights.

I'm hoping this spreads to more areas, but we have states still refusing to reopen even so it likely won't. Maybe Florida will adopt this? Maybe? I was looking at moving there for fall semester to get my education going again except all the major cities and colleges require masks still. SD is too cold for me (I grew up on the border of MN and SD) but I might have to find a way to transfer anyway. Nobody else is going to reopen. I'm 33 and can't just sit around letting my life be wasted by a government that tells me it's "for my own good."

Does it prohibit private businesses and Gov institutions (e.g state universities) from requiring masks?

I just found out about it, so I posted the article. It's a nice reminder there are a few pockets of sanity in the ocean of madness that is the USA.
