Prisoner's dilemma. Same reason you didn't grab a gun and go to DC.
Rank and file can't operate unless they know there's an organized movement to parcipate in. Just as average citizens can't. And they, like we, can't organize without getting Waco'd.
It would take someone higher up the food chain who has protection against monitoring and has the capacity to organize desperate elements. Even the founding fathers needed colonial militia officers to get the patriots ready to revolt.
Why haven’t you personally done anything to stop the organized steal? Very easy to pass the buck onto someone else and ask why they haven’t done this or that. I am guessing that the reason most service members haven’t done anything is because of the same reasons that you haven’t. They don’t want to be labeled a terrorist, have everything they have spent their lives working for taken away, and locked away in a cell until the day they die.
Total false equivalency, Deeznuts. Comparing a civilian to the military who all swore oaths to protect the US from all enemies foreign and domestic. They had an obligation to do their duty and uphold their oath and they failed.
Soldiers do what those in command tell them to, or suffer the consequences, just like every mother fucker here is standing down because to take up arms against the steal will land them in prison. Put your money where your mouth is or STFU!
Exactly. All these people whining about "wah...the military"
1.Have never served. It's quite clear.
2.Have no idea about UCMJ and the ass fucking they can give you
3.Have no idea how things actually work
They just wanted someone else to do their fighting for them.
Anytime I ask "What exactly should they have done?" I never get a response.
Most of you shitting on the military (not the brass that fucked us; fuck them) would not even say "Boo" to your boss and are expecting 18 year old private snuffy to shoulder an impossible task on your behalf. Snuffy has more skin in the game than you do sitting behind a keyboard.
What have YOU done @thisistheendofus? And what would your tactical plan be for soldiers at Washington DC who had limited supplies, sleeping in parking garages and no access to live ammo?
I don't know where all these people that are bitching about "thuh military didn't" come from but it is beyond tiresome. I am beginning to think they are liberals. Let me explain:
The same people bitching about how the military "didn't do anything" are the same ones who are purporting the military would go after civilians because they always follow orders.
I know dudes that were on that detail in Afghanistan. They were not happy but there was nothing they could do about it.
The military is controlled (or was when votes counted) by the civilian populace and those they voted into office.
We are just now learning how deep and corrupt everything is and you are blaming lower ranking soldiers for getting fucked like the rest of us? Not their fault.
I'll be the first to call all you cowardly sissies out on complying with the lockdowns and not doing a damn thing about the steal.
But it's the military's job to handle this so we don't have to. They swore an oath. They betrayed America by not doing their duty. It was up to them first.
Since they failed, it's up to us now. The responsibility of restoring the American republic and her constitution has fallen, at last, to the American people because no one else who was supposed to preserve it has done their job.
And yet we continue to do exactly as much about it as they have, which is exactly fuck and precisely all. We're as complicit in this as they are.
Sent to fight in a country you don't know, by a guy you don't know, to kill people you don't know for a reason you don't know.
But when a coup happens on our soil, nothing.
Not saying it to be disrespectful to Marines or other service members, but if you're thinking about joining, don't.
Why not? They didn't do anything to help stop the organized steal. They are complicit as far as I'm concerned.

He has a point though. See my above post:
