Yup. 15 years ago, as a younger man, I didn’t realize all of the corruption and crap that was behind our continued presence in the ME.
Now, it’s clear to me that our politicians are using us in their own game that doesn’t defend our Constitution, but erodes it.
I guess my point here is that the young guys that are signing up now may not realize that politicians are using them. They may believe with all their heart they are doing their patriotic, American duty. At 17-20 years old, one is still figuring out which way is up.

They think we joined just to kill as many people as possible. The enlisted will wrap themselves in the flag and will fight for the country, which is wholly different than fighting for its principles. The enlisted won't see a distinction.
