Jesus is depicted with blue eyes. I found out he was from line of Judah descended from King David the son of Jesse. One of the distinguishing features of the tribe of Judah are blue eyes. The lion is the symbol of the tribe of Judah and Jesus is referred to as the Lion of Judah in the Bible.
