Anytime someone yaps about "black history month" I ask them if they know who this guy is. If they don't, I tell them to find out what he did - and then ask themselves why they don't know who he is. He was one of the richest Americans ever.
He wrote an autobiography. He ended it with something like, "If a poor, black kid from Arkansas can do this, anyone can". THAT"S what should be taught in "black history month" - but it's not. This guy lived the American Dream.
