Handshakes don’t always mean “new”, some Pedes have been here a long time but just have no activity. Posting & commenting is how you lose the icon. It’s always best to see how old their account is and their post/comment history before saying they’re all commie shills. I’ve been on TDW since day one and I lost my account when they migrated to PW and had a handshake for a long while the second time. Though I agree with you that post karma scores don’t “mean dick” I think comment karma scores are really important. It shows that you interact with others’ posts and have good things to say helping build the community.
