$15/hr is robots everywhere. Also $15/hr is a huge stake through the heart of most small businesses and a chain around the ankles of any one considering starting a new business.

Yes. It leads to micro businesses where the owner is literally a one man band. Kinda like the novelty musician on the street who has the drum, horn, harmonica and tambourine all going at once.

It works, but it’s not a good representation of a healthy business. What I see happening is these type of businesses will be crushed rather quickly and then the large corporations will go back to a lower minimum wage after they are all decimated.

Yeah we seem to be heading back to the Log Cabin Industries of yore, though they call them more the "Gig Economy" I guess. Single owner/operator/army to do everything.
