My wife and I typically have breakfast at the local greasy spoon. Small town. Everybody knows rverybody. Several months ago, they started serving 100% of seats. A month or so ago, health department came and told them to either get separation or be shut down. They went to 50% for a couple weeks and then got some flimsy clear vinyl and put it up between tables. Usless but passed code. Now back to 100%. Today my wife (of 53 years) said "reminds me of when we were kids and practiced getting under our desks in case of nuclear attack". Yep, brilliant woman.

I laugh at all these "protective" measures because none of them do a damn thing to protect anyone. The only good advice handed out was "If you feel sick, stay home." Problem is that's not just good advice for CCP Virus but for all of the time. I went to work sick tons of times. Plenty of people do. Some people can't afford not to. That's likely what spreads more germs than anything. Especially if you work in an office.
Funny, isn't it, that nobody cared about telling people to stay home with any other viruses (many with a higher mortality rate than CCPV) until they needed to use it to steal an election? They even ran commercials for years for cold medicine promoting going out WHILE STILL SICK AND CONTAGIOUS because their medicine will make you feel well enough to do so.
