To be fair, with more people hiding in their basements and working from home, the likelihood of all illnesses decreasing was likely. I guarantee CCP Virus wasn't as prevalent as they claimed either. Maybe at first, but after a month or two, there's absolutely no way.

I’m not buying the “we cured the flu by practicing covid precautions.” If that were the case, covid too would have disappeared.
More likely, actual flu is being misdiagnosed as covid. We just had particularly bad flu season.
