They pushed ventilators because they're pretty cheap to manufacture, but the gov't will pay through the nose for them. They also knew that the pandemic stockpile of ventilators had been looted under the Obama administration, so new boats for everyone.
And the healthcare workers liked them because they would "contain" potential contagion and the sedated patient with no family watching is much, much easier to "care" for.
Ventilators were a mistake in the first place. There was no medical basis for that being the recommended treatment.
I'd like to look into that a bit.
We've got questions......
They pushed ventilators because they're pretty cheap to manufacture, but the gov't will pay through the nose for them. They also knew that the pandemic stockpile of ventilators had been looted under the Obama administration, so new boats for everyone.
I've seen no evidence that suggest that this isn't true, and the implications are insidious.
And the healthcare workers liked them because they would "contain" potential contagion and the sedated patient with no family watching is much, much easier to "care" for.
