Fawlty Towers is an absolute classic. So few episodes and Cleese and Booth flatly refused to make more. It tears into endless cultural taboos. Class. Race... nothing is off limits. I also think Rising Damp and the Rise and Fall of Reginald Perrin and its sequel starring Leonard Rossiter are both unmissably brilliant.
