Uh.. that’s disappointing. I figured only like 6% of them would be employed. How are they working? Does it count jobs unrelated to their basket weaving studies?
This has been going on for a long long time. If you remember that movie PCU that came out in 1994, it was based on the writers experiences in school. We used to and still do laugh at those people, believing they will get straightened out or crushed in the real world, "whos going to hire someone with a gender studies degree", we would say.
But that didnt happen, those people did get jobs. They got jobs in media dictating what is presented, in the government dictating policy, in schools dictating curriculum, in HRs at corporations dictating company policy.... We laughed at them, but we are not laughing now, far from it.
And? Here's the thing about the job market; if you don't have an equitable skillset, you don't get paid to perform that skillset.
The market is SATURATED with these idiots and those degrees are very specific and narrow. There's only x amount of jobs in those markets and those jobs are already being performed by others. You went into the wrong fields. The only employers that take those degree's are colleges. That's it (except criminal justice, but if you're doing that, go take the BAR exam and go to law school. Paralegals are fucking secretaries which is all that degree is good for).

A Liberal Arts degree was useless 50 yrs ago too
