Incredibly excited to to share something seriously YUGE with all of you today. Had an idea a little while back for our community here, thought way too much about it, got to work on it and now it's ready for you all to see.

Donald DAO

The project is called Donald DAO, and it's a self-governance tool to help us all get organized and working together in a safe and anonymous way.

DAO stands for Decentralized Autonomous Organization, which is a relatively new concept that's been gaining traction recently.

It's essentially an organization that has no owners, no leader, and all the power is decentralized and held by those who participate in and contribute to the DAO.

Members are anonymous, and no personal data is collected. No e-mail addresses, no IP's, no names, no data collection whatsoever.

Because it's part of the blockchain, the DAO can't be cancelled, shut down, stopped, banned or censored. It's been created, it exists, it's decentralized and there's nothing anyone can do about it. It's an open book that anyone can view and it's impossible to burn.

The DAO concept really checks all the boxes for us as far as being a safe way to come together as a group without having to trust each other too much.

The Humble FEFE

At the heart of the DAO is a community currency that we can use to help build our new economy around. We're calling it the FEFE.

45,000,000 rare original pressing FEFE's have already been created, and they're impatiently waiting to find their forever homes.

FEFE's are mostly earned by proposing ways to help out the DAO, and having the proposals accepted by the members. They can also be given away, traded, bought and sold like any other cryptocurrency.

All community funds are kept locked in a vault through smart contracts enforced by the blockchain, and the only possible way to get anything out of the vault is through a vote. Absolutely nobody has control over the vault except for the voters.

Think of the DAO as a way to issue grants from the Vault to fellow patriots who are ready, willing and able to build the tools and accomplish the tasks that our community deems valuable. It's a way for all of us to get involved and build the things that we truly need if we're going to keep winning.

Sometimes the universe aligns and God tosses the answer right in your lap, and that's exactly what happened here. Was pretty deep into this idea but realized the options out there for creating a DAO are very limited and frankly not all that good.

Randomly browsing one night and boom, we see that Colony.io announced just 2 days prior that they were letting a handful of people try the new version of their DAO software. It was years in development, and it's already leagues beyond anything else available.

We got in touch with their team, and the good news is that we've been accepted and already have our very own live Colony DAO up and running! You can visit it here:

Anyone here can join the colony today (or any other day) for free.

Step 1: Copy/paste the xDai RPC info into your Metamask
Step 2: Claim $0.01 from the free xDai faucet Alternate so you can afford to do a transaction (NOTE: The faucets seem to not be working today, they may be depleted.
Step 2.5: We'll be the faucet! If anyone wants some xDai to join the colony, paste in an address here or DM or on Gab and we'll send some over for free.
Step 3: Connect to the Colony with Metamask
Step 4: Click Join near the top left of the Donald DAO Colony page

That's it!

If this post gets any traction at all, by the end of today we'll already have the largest Colony in the world by far. :)

Colony is still extremely new and it's missing a lot of planned features, but it's easily the best option on the market today by a very wide margin.

xDai Network

Our colony runs on the xDai network, a sidechain to the Ethereum network's mainnet.

This has a few implications, but the long and short of it is that transactions on the mainnet cost $10-$30+ right now and take several minutes, while the same transaction on the xDai network would be a fraction of a penny and only take a few seconds.

The drawback is that existing crypto tokens need to be "bridged" to get them to the sidechain, and that incurs transaction fees. More on that in our Gitbook docs, link below.

In the end it's a necessary tradeoff, as this whole project would be completely infeasible on the main Ethereum network, while it will thrive on the xDai network.

Next Steps

We're all going to find out together! There's going to be a ton of questions to answer first, and then we'll begin forming into groups/teams/squads around common competencies, abilities and interests. People will step up to lead. Others will join them. Colony is bleeding edge software and we'll be doing some waiting as they release updates and new features, which gives us time to dream up how all this should work.

We wish to remain anonymous and not use our main personal accounts for this, as we may have said something in the past that could jeopardize our anonymity. We hope people respect our wishes to stay safe against the intolerant and violent leftists that would surely try to ruin our lives, given half a chance. We were there giving out coats and bricks at Plebbit, was here when it was TD.win, was here when lots of people lost their accounts and had to make new ones. Still here now, just a new account.

This account actually has exactly 45 karma as of this posting. Felt like it was good luck and motivation, and definitely feels good breaking it with this post!

No, we're not glowies

First we don't collect any personal information whatsoever, or even run a server. The only thing a bad actor could do with this is get involved and help out like anyone else. There's no secrets in a DAO, it's an open book. There's no data to mine, no plots to uncover, and nothing to hide.

This is the exact opposite of what the feds want us to do. They can't stop this. They can't control this. The only thing they can do is get involved, earn some FEFE's and help us meet our goals! Suckers.

If a person in bad faith DID get involved, contribute, earn reputation and FEFE's and then suddenly started behaving badly, the community can vote to strip them of their reputation, severely reducing their impact on voting.
