Anyone willing to bash the police and military as traitors because they haven't "arrested" the bad actors is a buffoon. If you go that route you will do nothing but alienate yourself and accomplish nothing. Say what you want but the only reason you are able to do your self righteous bantering is because of the military and police. You think it's bad out there with them around. Imagine the chaos if they disappeared.

Just like any organization ever, police and the military have pieces of shit in them. It just so happens that there has been a SURGE of pieces of shit in the past few years. That will stand by and do nothing because they don't want to lose their pensions or their sweet cushy positions. They won't think for themselves or say 'this is wrong and unlawful. I can't support doing this.' They just shrug and say 'Welp, I got told so whatever'.
Those aren't law enforcement. Those aren't soldiers. Those are pieces of shit that will have ZERO problem processing you through internment camps or leveling a rifle on you. For simply exercising the second or first amendment. This isn't hyperbole. This is actually happening. How many have been arrested for protesting on the 6th? More than a few. They're arresting people that weren't even in the building. And what did they do wrong? Form a peaceful protest in redress of their government. Well, shit, my bad. For some reason I thought that was a constitutional right. And the cops/military arresting them, the DA's prosecuting them, the judges signing the warrants and setting bond for those people are all in violation of their oath of office.
THAT'S why people think the military and law enforcement are pathetic. And it's REAL HARD to defend them at this point since they face ZERO recourse. NO ONE is stepping up and doing the right thing. None. No one is calling these garbage cops/military out. No one is resigning in disgust.
I don't feel bad for them. I really don't. I don't participate in shitting on them, but I don't defend them anymore. They're on their own.
Of course there's bad cops and military. But there's also good ones and there are people stepping up and doing the right thing. But you don't hear about it..why? Because it's not sexy and it doesn't fit the narrative. I'm not saying support and defend them unconditionaly. But I would say that the good guys in those positions are under stress and strain that none of us could fathom. The good guys are doing their damnedest to hild back this storm. Are they losing? Perhaps. But they aren't giving up. And the 6th thing is FBI. They and local pd are not the same thing.
