I am Gen Z. I went to a very liberal high school. I remember at 17 feeling like I “should” be bisexual. A lot of my friends were LGBTQ+ and it was celebrated.
This may be the real answer. Gen Z has this social pressure to not only accept LGB but also to be LGB to get noticed or even accepted, especially white males, in today's society.

Then I graduated. Thank goodness I got out.
Btw I am straight and always have been.
