But logos are powerful things. That’s why they are used. It would confuse some. If/when the party is dominant and changes it at that time, that might work.

You’re right, images/logos ARE powerful. That’s why updating it and improving it would be so effective. That’s the point.
Don’t be part of the old guard that is constantly afraid of everything. It’s time to push forward and be on the attack.
