Missed Traitor Mitch though and Mc Carthy

I can't be the only one that finds that a bit troubling. He gave the audience enough time to boo Mitch but didn't say anything about him really. I hope these guys didn't find some way back to Trump's good graces. I'm tired of watching him, and by extension us, get backstabbed when he should be able to see it coming.

You don't start attacking Mitch yet. You use Mitch like he used you - you keep him close because he's your enemy. Once you've extracted any semblance of support from him or any political favors then you attack him in the state of Kentucky when his seat is up again.

His seat is up in 6 more years, he'll be dead of old age by then. If we wait to attack till then, then why bother?

It's shitty. It sucks. But its the strategic game that has to be played.

Nothing is stopping you or any of us campaigning against him now and for the next 6 years - but Trump needs to build as many political bridges up until his reeleection and then start the slash and burn for real this time

Well, he did already come out with that public statement against Mitch. So I just found it strange he didn't continue it here.

That's called a jab. It makes them remember you are still there while waiting to get knocked the fuck out.

The MAGA movement is at a fork in the road.

One road is far more difficult and deadly to traverse -maybe impossible to traverse- but leads to AGA.

The other road -getting back in bed with the corrupt GOP swamp RINOs- is significantly easier to traverse, but at best leads to Trump in office for another four decent years in which he his able to postpone the decline, but not reverse the decline because his hands will still successfully be tied by the swamp RINOs. Another stay of execution for America, but nothing more.

It seems we are to take the easier road, which I think will -at best- only serve to delay our start down the more difficult road. At worst, starting down the more difficult road may not even still be an option by the time we realize it’s the only one which leads where we need to go.

What difficult road would that be? What actions/obstacles are you referring to?

Getting into power without getting back into bed with the GOP wing of the Uniparty, whether via the ballot box and a non-swamp party, or via 1776 if the ballot box no longer exists as an option.

The Uniparty doesn’t want a Trump second term, but they aren’t going to be that worried if he decides to take the GOP route which at best can only end up with him in office surrounded by GOP handlers again. It’s another four year delay for them, nothing more, then back to business as usual. The nightmare for them is he goes outside their political ecosystem and becomes something they can’t control.

Understand and agree 100%. Given the failures of 3rd parties in the past, and realizing that even if he does have a second term outside the existing system he will still have GOPe to worry about in his administration and in government bureaucracies to deal with, I think his strategy is to slowly remake and take over the party apparatus. If his role as kingmaker is effective in 2022, he can continue to expand his influence until he controls the GOP. Once that is in hand, then the pool of people who genuinely want to MAGA will be available for AG, SOS, SecDef, FBI, CIA, etc. He could run and clean house or a Desantis could.
