It was great to see Trump 45 out in public again delivering some long-standing truths to an adoring crowd of supporters.

Overall it wasn't his best showing. He appeared a bit subdued, perhaps even a little tired. The man is 74 after all. That said, he remains better than most and miles better than the standard DC swamp rats be they Democrat or Republican.

I was left wondering if he's serious about making another run at it in 2024 or will he prefer to play the part of kingmaker and use his still considerable influence to help choose a younger candidate who is a highly capable America-First choice. A DeSantis/Noem ticket perhaps?

By playing coy about running again he maintains much of his power so I don't see him saying anything more definitive one way or the other until after the 2022 Midterms.

There does seem to be a lot of buzz currently around DeSantis and the media hates him so that's a good thing.
