Except some forms of tolerance are necessary, like religious tolerance. Europe ripped itself apart fighting wars of religion before they realized killing other Christians was pretty damned stupid.

They weren't great and I'll agree that the communists and their aims will lead to more wars and death than any other. The US was pretty damned tolerant and we had all kinds of Protestantism and Catholicism work very well together. I'm openly religious in my deeds and volunteering and I welcome others to take up Christ's work as it isn't always easy.

like religious tolerance.

Especially not religious tolerance. Allowing the goddamned Mohammadans into Western society was the 2nd dumbest thing we've ever done, right before allowing leftists into Western society.

From a Catholic?

I am a Catholic and the religious wars in Europe were beyond stupid. I respect most forms of Christianity, save for the modern, woke preachers, pastors and the terrible new pope.

Your Catholic and you think the new pope is terrible. What part of Catholic dont you understand?

Do you just like the parts where you get to buy yourself out of hell? It's certainly not biblical.

Dude I was raised Catholic and now I'm pretty much non-denominational and just want to be around good folks who believe in Christ and practice his message. Us Catholics realize how flawed our religion is and its very dysfunctional, but their are some great parts and amazing people. We've also had no shortage of bad and corrupt popes, but this one does really suck and is an Anti-Pope so I just don't give a shit what he says. Their was a prophecy that the previous pope would be the last and this one would be Peter II who would rule over the destruction of the church and so far that's not too ridiculous from what I'm seeing.

So Hitler's Christianity was a good thing?

He was an occultist along with most of the control freaks at the top of his party and a very intolerant one at that. I think we've done it pretty well in the US like our brilliant forefathers envisioned, not perfect, but nothing is.

He was a Catholic. Himmler was an occultist.

He was raised a Catholic, but fell into Occultism, admired the Muslim faith and persecuted no shortage of Catholics, especially Poles.
