I know people think negatively to being asked to donate. I see it as either you don’t support him and he’s forced to NEED the same donors that control the democrats OR he’s funded by the people. He got this far off coming out of his own pocket and has been losing money ever since. I don’t blame him for doing this. Finance makes or break the candidate.
Billionaire is his net worth not his bank balance. He’s hemorrhaging money with legal fees and I’m pretty sure he has to pay for secret service. If I spent decades building an empire for my family I wouldn’t let it all crumple financially. The least people could do is donate what they can afford. He has enough supporters for people to donate small amounts and it’s still a lot combined. Also, I don’t want to set a precedent of people needing to be rich to run for office. His personal money shouldn’t matter and I hope lower income people see this support and realize they can run for office and get support they need. Forcing people to be dependent on donors is why we have mostly evil people in our government.
I think the bigger problem people have is that the link is WinRed, which makes it unclear where the donation goes (the typical understanding being that WinRed = GOP and that at least a sizeable portion of that donation goes to the backstabbing RINOs and not to Trump or his campaign directly).
After the revelation that the entire Stop The Steal movement was a graft, and none of that money went to actually stopping the steal, I'd say conservatives are right to be skeptical when donating to political causes, even when (especially when?) it has Trump's name on it... Knowing the top has already been fundraising in Trump's name & keeping the money for their swamp crew.
I’m waiting til the money goes 100% to President Trump. That site in the telegram quote is winred which means gop still gets a share. Not from me. Ever.
I feel like the kid in a Christmas story when he gets the decider ring and the secret message is “drink more ovaltine”. Send money? Really?

Right but he’s a billionaire, he could fund them all himself.
