The funny thing is, nobody on the planet is transphobic. Nobody is afraid of them for who they are. The only fear that enters the equation is if a "trans person" finds some reason to call you that name. Once you get that label, you can be in for a world of hurt.
I worked a gig once with a "trans woman." Definitely not passing. I was in constant terror, not because I'm "transphobic" but because if I used the wrong pronoun during rehearsals or at the gig, I would have lost my livelihood, would have had to pack up and move out of town because word would get around that I was a no-good bad person.
That is real, dangerous power in the hands of evil people.
"transphobia" = "everybody is mentally ill except me"
You can't be phobic of something you laugh at
Phobia means fear. We don't fear the freaks. We fear what the appeasers of those freaks are doing to our culture and the nation's children.
