Im not sure what you mean. We have been lied to constantly by government officials who seek power and money. My point is that they should not be trusted ever again.
By Trump going back to the Republican party, he is going to give them 100s of millions of dollars in donations from his supporters. That only continues it.

Independent is suicide. You need the old guard Republicans to donate, Trump or not. Its all about money and how much you bring to the party. Even on a local level it's sickening how much money you MUST raise to even be in contention for a republican seat. It's a must. Popluar with constituents or not.
